For the hikers the Mountain Gudes propose an excursion away from the usual routes: the excursion includes the ascent to higher altitudes with special 4x4 and the visit of the Summit Craters. At an altitude of 2800 m begin our adventure: we leave the 4x4 and contine on foot , a drop of about 500 m separate us from the Summit. we reach the Summit Craters and after a visit to this craters we begin our descent on foot down the slopes of the volcano: 1550 m of descent along the canyons of volcanic sand.
